Gullin’

Annual August trip to see my family in London, meant a few gulling trips to Erith to try and see one of the Casps that had been performing well earlier in the month.

Also a great excuse to get close and study Yellow-legged Gulls – a variety of ages, shapes and plumages seen of this large, yet graceful looking gull.

A few YLG images below, ending with the most Casp like bird I had – shame I’d forgotten my phone adapter for that bird, so images poor.

Thanks to Josh Jones for site info and looking at some of my images.

A typical view of an adult YLG on the Rainham side!

And finally the most Casp like bird – shame I never saw it fly!
